The HPX in-dash car audio processor achieves this with a unique, proprietary High Definition Expansion (HDE) circuit that utilizes the spatial cues hidden within all stereo recordings to enhance soundstage breadth and depth, delivering an incredible sonic performance. The result: more natural, larger-sounding high-fidelity music reproduction that delivers dramatic sonic improvements to portable-audio playback, particularly compressed-data digital audio sources such as MP3. The HPX in-dash car audio processor also provides a front and rear car audio crossover, plus a subwoofer level control to promote smooth, seamless transition between speakers. A convenient master volume control overrides a portable's tiny controls, which is useful while driving.
The HPX is ideal for vehicles with less than perfect speaker locations typically installed low in the doors or kick panels, that can effect the perceived soundstage within the vehicle.
