Just touch the wide colour touchscreen, key in your destination and n�vi takes you to your destination anywhere in Western Europe with turn-by-turn spoken directions. The 245WT has smooth moving maps and digital elevation detail, with shaded contours for a better understanding of your surrounding terrain. With HotFix™ satellite prediction technology, Garmin calculates your position faster to get you there quicker.
'Where Am I?' emergency locator gives you details about your position when you tap the car icon on the screen. n�vi gives you your exact location complete with nearest address, contact details for your local vehicle recovery service and directions to nearby hospitals, police and petrol stations.
n�vi 245WT contains Cyclops speed cameras to give route-relevant alerts tailored to your planned journey, speed travelled and direction. Don't be fooled by false alerts, Cyclops uses a patented �corridor' technique of camera validation and also displays speed limits for greater awareness.
Protect n�vi 245WT with Garmin Lock™, an inventive anti-theft protection system that uses GPS technology to lock the sat nav to a secure location of your choice. Just use a pin or return to the location to unlock the device.

Redefine your sightseeing with photo navigation to get there in a snap! Plan trips to landmarks and attractions simply and easily before you set off. Just choose and save location-tagged photographs from Garmin Connect Photos in a wish-list of places to visit. Premium lifetime traffic
n�vi 245WT comes withpremium lifetime traffic to keep you aware of traffic jams, accidents and roadworks on your route. This FM traffic service takes live traffic data from cameras located every two miles along every major route to help you avoid the tailbacks.
Traffic information is just a toggle away. Simply tap between the main navigation screen and traffic alerts while Garmin keeps you up to date with the tailbacks and suggests a better route around the delay.
