The NavGate AVIC-F10BT couldn’t be easier to use. Simply speak to it to plan routes, select audio sources and control primary phone functions.
The advanced conversational voice recognition listens for keywords in the command you give, so you don’t have to memorise commands precisely.
It also has the capability to ignore irrelevant words (like “um”) or ambient in-vehicle noise which allows for improved recognition. With stylish looks and powerful performance complementing its highly intuitive operation, the AVIC-F10BT delivers more efficient and enjoyable journeys.
Complete, reliable coverage and guidance
The blisteringly fast flash memory is complemented by new navigation software that sets routes almost instantaneously. Detailed maps in 2D or 3D are included for the whole of Europe (spanning over 9 million kilometres of roads): there are 132 city maps, 5.9 million Points of Interest (POIs) and 2,000 3D-landmarks.
Voice guidance directs you on the journey and, with an exclusive junction feature, provides plenty of warning of which lane to take at exits. The system also applies Text-to-Speech (TTS) to provide detailed voice guidance messages and safely relay traffic information, flagging events within 150km and suggesting new routes based on TMC bulletins.

With audio, there’s no compromise: sound is comparable to the best dedicated in-car entertainment systems. Alongside high-end components, the unit integrates our Sound Retriever, which constantly adjusts frequency response and sound pressure of compressed music, especially in the high and low frequency ranges, to put the harmonics lost during compression back into your music.
So whatever format you use, audio is revitalised and depth returned, while a 7-band equalizer enables the tuning of your audio to your car’s unique acoustic environment.
The impressive capabilities reproduce exquisite sound to give you the confidence to unleash the full might of our celebrated MOSFET 50 W x 4 amplifier set-up.
But if you prefer more muscle, three hi-voltage RCA outs are on tap to connect additional amplifiers, speakers and subwoofers. With serious audio comes serious connectivity. You can play your tunes in virtually any format (MP3, WMA, WAV, AAC) from USB, SD or CD and DVD – and enjoy video from these sources too using Windows Media and MPEG-4 content, while DivX video can be watched from CD and DVD.
You can also take direct control of your iPod or iPhone from the touch screen and watch video from the device. Multitasking is another attribute of the NavGate AVIC-F10BT: as the front seat passengers listen to music from one source, rear-seat passengers can watch a movie from DVD, iPod-Video or Personal Media Player on the optional rear screens. The system can also playback music while managing navigation.
Stay in touch - without the wires
Communications are overseen by the industry’s optimum Bluetooth system from Parrot: leave your phone anywhere in the vehicle or in your pocket and your addresses are automatically available to browse and call.
All conversations are clearly relayed through your car’s speakers, while incoming calls are answered by simply pressing the touch screen. If you phone offers the function, you can even enjoy audio from the handset through the car’s speakers.
You can also personalise your system by changing the main menu screen using drag and drop icons and create your own customised ‘short cut’ menu to provide instant access to your most used features.

And with our online NavGate Feeds PC application, you can add POIs using Google Maps, and track and analyse journeys (useful for expenses) through the Drive Report function. Also, an Eco Report is available to provide an evaluation of driving performance (including acceleration, braking and CO 2 emissions) – with graphics on your PC presenting data such as fuel consumption.
By inserting an RSS feed in NavGate Feeds, you can select locations of geo- tagged images and add them to your NavGate unit as POIs via SD.
