The blackbird combines the benefits of portable and fixed navigation perfectly: The blackbird works as a stand-alone product, but can also be connected to a fixed AV system via the optional AV docking station. As soon as the blackbird is docked, the dashboard mobile media station takes over the display and control of the blackbird. So your blackbird becomes seamlessly integrated into your Alpine system.

With Alpine Perfect F.I.T. (Factory Integration Technology) solutions your system can grow according to your requirements. The docked blackbird can easily be connected with your pre-installed factory monitor system. You can upgrade your system through one of our Audio/Video interfaces or enhance it with our VehicleHub™ / VehicleHub™ Pro. So the system can be upgraded, especially when the existing system is outdated or the system is damaged and too expensive to repair

PMD-ANT1 – An external GPS antenna hard-wired to Blackbird used in instances where you cannot normally receive GPS signals inside the car, due to metallic window tint, etc.
